He examined the human skull according to its predisposition to movement and developed a concept that makes the rhythmic flow of cerebrospinal fluid palpable. This rhythm is transmitted to the individual bones and their connections from the skull (cranium) to the spine to the sacrum (sacrum).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_52279\" class=\"cz_52279 cz_title clr cz_mobile_text_center cz_title_pos_inline\"><div class=\"cz_title_content\"><div class=\"cz_wpe_content\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 16px;\">All these structures have close connections to the nervous system (cranial and spinal nerves), to the hormonal system (pituitary gland and hypothalamus), to the muscular, vascular and organ systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_106573\" class=\"cz_106573 cz_title clr cz_mobile_text_center cz_title_pos_inline\"><div class=\"cz_title_content\"><div class=\"cz_wpe_content\"><p><span style=\"color: #960055; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>The cranio-sacral rhythm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Diagnosis and therapy in cranio-sacral osteopathy are largely based on the cranio-sacral rhythm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This rhythm, like heartbeat and breath, is an independent body rhythm with a frequency of about 7-14 cycles per minute.
