Why do I need a prescription?

For rehabilitative physiotherapeutic treatment, a prescription certificate is required from the general practitioner or specialist or hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Hint<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the MDT Act, a medical prescription is required for professional reasons for each treatment provided by us therapists.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Osteopathy and other holistic forms of treatment (APM, craniosacral therapy, TCM consultation, etc.) are purely private services and are not reimbursed by the insurance companies. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nevertheless, a doctor’s prescription is required!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What must be listed on this ordinance form?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 an accurate diagnosis<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 indicated therapy or individual services<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Number of treatments<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 possibly. House call<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Hint<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

in the case of neurological diseases (e.g. multiple sclerosis, stroke, etc.) that bear the note “neurophysiological treatment”, higher tariffs will be reimbursed to the patients of choice by SV carriers.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Chief medical approval<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In order to be able to settle accounts directly with the \u00d6GK, the chief physician’s approval is required BEFORE the start of therapy<\/strong>. <\/span> In order to enable you as an elective patient:in all other SV carriers or as an elective patient with an elective therapist to be reimbursed, the prescription form must also be approved BEFORE the start of treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that partial massages and lymphatic drainage are ALWAYS subject to chief physician duty!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Validity of the regulation certificate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The start of treatment must be within 3 months from the date of issue or the date of the chief physician<\/strong> (indication of 2 weeks on the prescription certificate is incorrect!).<\/span><\/p>\n

The series of treatments must be carried out within 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
